How To Wear Shorts- Six Tips For Men

Depending on your age, wearing shorts can be both easy or hard but the power to look good in them lies in your style and confidence. Men planning to wear shorts have a few things to consider before determining which shorts to wear to which place. You also have to know the places where shorts are simply not allowed. Take a look at the tips below;

1.Consider the fabric:
Different fabrics are suitable for different places and occasions. Some fabrics are also not suitable for all weather; for instance leather might not be too comfortable during summer. Cotton and other light fabrics are best kept for the beach or a sunny day. Jeans and khaki shorts are convenient for most weather and to many places.

2.Check the front design:
The front design of your shorts determines how everything else falls in place and makes the difference between a cool and not so good pair of shorts. Avoid shorts with pleated fronts unless you are going for a football match. most men look better in flat-front shorts plus you can wear flat-front shorts with almost any shirt including an official one.

3.Size of the pockets:
The size and number of pockets you should have popping out of your shorts depends on your age and the activities you engage in.Multiple oversize pockets are best left for teenage boys. The number of pockets and size should be less with age but that should not limit you from being trendy.

4.Choose your colors well:
The best color of shorts is one that compliments your skin color and/or the color of your shirt. Warm colors such as yellow, orange and brown look good on light-skinned men while cool colors like blue and green look better on dark and white skinned men. Khaki color looks good on most people and also other neutral colors like black and grey. If you have a tan skin color, most colors also suite you; both warm and cool colors.

5.What is the occasion:
You might look good in shorts but you have to get the place right so that you fit in. No one needs to remind you that dinners and formal occasions are not the best places for wearing shorts. Sports shorts also look weird when worn to the beach or when you go shopping in them. If you have to wear sports shorts, make sure your shoes and shirt are also sporty.

6.Be trendy:
The glamor of shorts lies with trend and style. Try and keep up to date with new designs or wear classic vintage shorts. You shorts might not be faded or torn but learn to keep them aside when trends change.

Best Colors For A Tanned Skin Tone.

Some people get tanned skin during summer while others have a natural skin color that looks tanned. A skin that tanned because of being too exposed to sunlight does not  return to normal within a short while and you might need to slightly adjust the colors you use for your make up and clothing temporarily. If you have a tan skin, the following suggestions can help you choose the right clothe colors to match your skin :
Best Colors for a tanned skin tone.
  • The color of your clothes should always compliment your skin tone. Tanned skin tends to fit in almost all color tones but looks better in warm colors with yellow undertones. Golden, brown and orange shades look great on a tanned skin.
  • You can also go for neutral colors like white and black which suite all skin colors.
  • White clothes look great on a tanned skin if you are slim and so should be avoided if you are plump as they tend to emphasize on your plump look.
  • If you have a dark tan skin, black blends greatly with your skin tone. Any shades of brown also look amazing on a dark tan skin.
  • Light green and yellow shades tend to emphasize on the tan and do a great job in complementing your skin tone.
  • Even if most colors look great on a tanned skin, avoid pale colors which tend to give you a pale boring look when not combined with other colors. Ice colors tend to give you a fresher and more attractive look as compared to pastel colors.
