Best Dressed Celebrities MTV Music Awards 2012

The red carpet at this year's MTV Music Awards was quite a scene with a couple of celebrities taking up new styles and probably setting the new trends for this season. Among those who attended were Rihanna, Amber Rose, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Ne-Yo among many others.
For lovers of fashion, the red carpet is the most important bit of the event other than the awards. Take a look at some of the best dressed celebrities at MTV awards 2012:
Rihanna

Rihanna went for a white flowing gown with a bear back. Her new look with a short hair cut seems to do her a great job. She was just fabulous!
Nicki Minaj

 For Minaj, what counts most is uniqueness and she has managed to define her own fashion that you just can't keep your eyes off. Nicki Minaj was smoking hot in the black jumpsuit embellished in red. The hair and the cap plus make up were also a plus on her side.
Amber Rose

How best could she show her baby bump? Pregnant Amber Rose went for a fiting full-neck dress that considerably hugged her body. For an expectant mother, she was on the right track.
Katy Perry

Whenever Katy Perry goes for long flowing dresses, there's always something angelic in them. She was quite simple but more than elegant.
Drake

Drake went for a very tight T-shirt, black pants. What I loved the most were his shoes...very trendy!
One Direction

These boys are going up the ladder quite fast. But their style tells it all; the are cool. One Direction won the award for best pop Music.

The Best Dressed Women At 2012 Grammy Awards

Grammy Awards bring to gether celebrity style, fashion and music in one package. The 2012 Grammys saw a wide range of designer clothes brought to light with some celebrities like Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga opting to have their own custom made designs. Long dinner gowns seemed to have been the trend this year with very few female celebrities opting for mini-dresses. Among the best dresses female celebs were Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Amber Rose, Katty Perry, Adele and Taylor Swift. Check out their photos below:
Lady Gaga in sexy black

 Lady gaga definitely turned heads with her outfit. Her net outfit was custom made for her by Versace and I think she was great and quite descent considering what she has been spotted in previously. The net on her face and the rod she is carrying added to her glamor. The exposed tattoo under the black fish net also looked very sexy.
Taylor Swift's mermaid dress

 Taylor looked sweet and quite royal in her glitter mermaid dress. The brown color scheme she chose for the day looked good on her. Would actually recommend this dinner dress for anyone because it is elegant and simple enough for everyone.
Adele in elegant dinner dress

Adele made a good come back after her throat surgery which saw her loose weight tremendously. At the Grammys she looked wonderful in the flowing black dress. Still as beautiful as ever.
Katy Perry in classic blue dress

 Katy Perry is quite gifted when it comes to wearing blue. She went for a classic looking sly blue dinner dress with a very descent design to match the blue highlights on her hair. This dress by Ellie Saab also has a royal feel.
Rihanna in black gown by Giorgio Armani 

Giorgio Armani did a great job in dressing Rihanna. Her look is simply sexy and worth a try for an evening out.
