How To Dress A Big Belly And Look Great- men fashion.

Dressing well can be a bit tricky when you have a big belly. You have to always make an extra effort and forego a few clothes that you have always liked but you can still pull great looks. Sometimes you can even fool people about the existence of your big belly by making it look smaller or completely hiding it! Working out to lose the belly is the best option but before you can get to your dream body, here are a few tips on how to dress a big stomach:

  • Always try to wear plain colored clothes. these naturally reduce the effect of a protruding belly. wearing printed clothes can easily make a big stomach look bigger.
  • Tucking in shirts has a balancing effect on your body. A neatly tucked shirt makes you look more proportional and makes the belly appear smaller.

  • Use the layering trick: If the weather allows, try wearing a hood or a cool jacket that goes with the clothes that you are wearing. most hoods will completely hide your belly and make you look cool.
  • Avoid clothes with horizontal or diagonal stripes: they tend to make you look bigger, especially shirts.
  • If you are short and planning to tuck in, avoid wearing trousers completely below the belly as this makes you look ridiculously unproportional. Instead, wear the pants around the widest part of your belly which in most cases is halfway your body. Do not wear pants above your belly.
  • When you are shopping, try clothes on and see how they look on you. Going by measurements only could end up giving you a not so cool look.
  • Occasionally you can take advantage of suspender belts. They look good and classy plus they hold your pants at the best fitting level.
  • Sweaters that are not too tight or baggy will always be a good look especially when won with casual pants or jeans.

  • Do not be afraid of trying out new trends as long as they look good on you. Although skinny jeans, however trendy they are should not be your favorite dress code.
I think Fat Joe and Rick Ross are people to look up to. They always dress to kill and most of the times get it right. Once you define your style and choose wisely, we won't even bother about your big belly; we just admire the good look!

Cool Plus Size Maternity Clothes

Ever wondered why some women look better during their pregnancy while others look bored as soon as they hit four months? Sometimes there are some uncontrollable physical factors such as black spots and swollen feet but in most cases it is the choice of maternity clothes that matters. Plus size mothers tend to be the most affected because they have a harder time shopping and worse, not many plus size women know which clothes suite them most during pregnancy. Just to save you the trouble, follow the guide below of clothes that will not let you down if your are a plus size mom-to-be.
Wear empire waist maternity tops

Tops with empire waists will always feel comfortable to be in and they suite any plus size woman. You can choose to wear a collared one or one with a V-shape without collars. You also have the option of wearing an empire waist top that flatters your big bust or shows off a bit of cleavage.
Choose pants that fit in your belly

Plus size maternity pants look better when they fit well around the tummy and are a bit loose at the hips because the body looks more balanced. Choose a maternity pant which is elastic at the tummy area for comfort.

Wear light flowing gowns without layers or a bubble design
The best gowns for an expectant plus size mother are ones with an empire waist and without too many layers beneath. Wearing bubble dresses or layered maternity dresses might end up making you look a lot more bigger. The gown should however not fit too close to your body- a slightly loose fit is okay.
Get a few custom made dresses to suite your body
The other option would be to have custom made maternity dresses. In this case everything will depend on your taste and of course your body. Go for designs that flatter you and that bring out the best of your body. It is advisable to have them with an elastic material around the waist/ tunny area if you are still in the first trimester of your pregnancy so that you will adjust them all through.
