How To choose A Good Watch

Besides telling you time, a watch serves you in a couple of other ways. Most of the times our watches appear as an accessory and what they look like and how they function really matters and makes the difference. Before buying a watch, there are certain things you will need to consider; whether you are going designer or for normal watches.
Size of the watch:

Does the watch cling, does it dangle up and down when you move your hand?. Make sure the watch fits snug and does not leave marks on your hand when you take it off.
Choose a good strap:

Decide whether you want a metallic or leather strap. Its always better to choose a color that will go with most of your accessories or clothes. If you get a watch whose straps can be easily changed the better.
Consider water resistance:

Water resistance is a good quality to have on your watch. water resistant watches are more durable and don't limit you on where to use them. The water resistance of a watch will be indicated on it in meters or inches. The more the water resistance, the higher the quality and of course a higher price.
Consider the manufacturer:

Read reviews to know what people say about a certain manufacturer, what reputation do they have, are they known for quality or faulty watches. Majority are rarely wrong when it comes to watches- go for brands that have been approved by many people.
Check out for fakes:
Popular brands often have imitations which are of lower quality. Make sure you don't pay an exaggerated price for a fake watch.
Consider the Display:

Are you more comfortable with an analogue or a digital display? some watches have both but most have either of the two. If you struggle reading analogue, just keep it digital.
